（中央社洛杉磯15日綜合外電報導）透納體育台（Turner Sports network）今天表示，以場邊報導聞名的該台NBA記者薩格爾病逝，享壽65歲。薩格爾愛穿鮮豔花西裝採訪，在NBA是名號響叮噹的人物。
法新社報導，薩格爾（Craig Sager）為TNT採訪NBA超過20年，提問往往一針見血，尤其他與向以寡言著稱的聖安東尼奧馬刺隊總教練帕波維奇（GreggPopovich）和其他人的言語交鋒，使他馬上就成為知名人物。
薩格爾2014年被診斷出罹患血癌，過去兩年與病魔纏鬥。他在接受骨髓移植後，癌症病情一度減輕，但2015年3月再度復發。
NBA理事長席佛（Adam Silver）宣布，所有球隊比賽之前，將為薩格爾舉行默哀。
席佛發表聲明指出：「我，以及整個NBA大家庭，都為薩格爾過世深感悲痛。薩格爾對NBA的重要性，不下於球員及教練。」
薩格爾離世消息一出，社群媒體湧現對他的致敬。前洛杉磯湖人隊名將魔術強森（Magic Johnson）發表推文說：「NBA大家庭失去一位傳奇，他改變了場邊記者工作的方式。」
前芝加哥公牛隊球星皮朋（Scottie Pippen）也以推文表示：「薩格爾為NBA比賽注入許多熱情。但他與病魔奮戰到最後，才是真正令我印象深刻的事。請安息。」（譯者：中央社徐崇哲）1051216
